DFOA fundraising activities


The Denver Football Officials Association is a registered 501(c)(3) entity with the Internal Revenue Service.  To fund our operations and provide officiating services to the local schools, we rely on donations and our members participation in fundraising events.  As a DFOA member, you are required to participate in one of the events below to maintain Varsity eligibility and be a member in ‘good standing’.

  • Member Dues
  • Broncos concessions
  • Annual golf outing

DFOA members that are unable to participate in an actual fundraising event are asked to pay a small dues fee of $25.00 per year.  If you work the Bronco’s concessions stand, or participate in the golf outing, the $25.00 dues fee is waived.

Each year, we partner with Aramark , the primary concessions vendor at Mile High Stadium where the Bronco’s play.  For each Bronco’s home game, our officials attend and operate one of the available concession stands during the game.  In exchange, Aramark donates a percentage of the sales to DFOA.  This is a significant event for us and the officials that worked in 2018 generated over $10,000 in donations to DFOA.

During the summer, DFOA will sponsor a golf outing open to all members of the officiating community in the Denver area.  We partner with Applewood Golf Course for a fantastic annual event that is both fun and supports the DFOA.
