2020 Crews

Based on the number officials registered as of March 1st, the decision was made to reduce the total crew count from 24 down to 22.  This will allow DFOA to have more “depth” per crew and greater coverage due to injuries or nights that an official cannot work.

Because of vacancies, the crews from 2019 had to be adjusted.  The Area Directors worked with the Crew Chiefs to fill open slots.  There were three vacant Referee roles due to retirements / injuries.  Lee Doerr and Rob Jones were promoted to the Crew Chief position for 2020 and Joel Pogar will be returning full-time to fill these three positions.

Crew Chiefs should be reaching out to DFOA members soon for 2020 preparation.  Pool officials can contact any Crew Chief on the list and join the study session of their choice.  If a specific position is not listed for an official, that official can work or fill multiple roles if necessary.
